Indian Head Massage for the Individual

Indian Head Massage For the Individual

Indian Head Massage, or Champissage, is based on an ancient Ayurvedic Medical System that has been practised in India for thousands of years. It is a sequence of therapeutic massage movements, which have been extended to improve the known benefits of Indian Head Massage.

As well as the head, the treatment includes movements to the upper back, neck, shoulders, upper arms and face. The head, neck and shoulders are important energy centres within your body.

If you are feeling stressed or anxious, tension tends to accumulate in these areas, causing stiffness, stress headaches and general discomfort in these muscles,

Indian Head Massage involves working with a firm and gentle rhythm to help un-knot blockages and relieve this uncomfortable build up of tension. Is wonderfully relaxing

The main advantages of this treatment are:

  • Can be carried out either over clothes or directly on to the skin.

  • A choice of essential oils, or dry treatment to suit your needs.

  • Does not require a couch so is suitable for those who find it uncomfortable to lie down.

Treatments are tailored to suit your needs.

I’m mobile, treatment can be done in the convenience of your home, or can be done in my relaxing therapy room in Honley.
