A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I practice from my home, in the beautiful little village called Honley, part of 'Summer Wine Country'.  I now also work as a volunteer therapist for the National Phobic Society.  My working life has been very diverse, I trained as a driver in the Armed Forces.  Then went on to become an Auxilliary nurse for terminal cancer patients in Dumbartonshire Scotland.

Moving on I became a volunteer for Kirklees Aids Response, and trained as a counsellor in Person centered Counselling for HIV and AIDS. I became interested in Hypnotherapy five years ago, and graduated as an Advanced Hypnotherapist from the Atkinson Ball College of Hypnotherapy and Hypnohealing in February 2000.

My qualifications/training are:-

• Diploma in Advanced Hypnotherapy/ specialising in Anxiety/Phobias/ Pain management.

• B.A in Psychology and Sociology. Huddersfield Technical College/Leeds Metropolitan University.

• Diploma in Person Centered Counselling/specialising in HIV AIDS. Huddersfield University.

• Diploma in Thinking Psychology. Huddersfield Technical college.

• Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

• Diploma in Past Life Regression. Past Life Therapy Organisation.

Training

• Trained in Time Line Therapy, Fast Phobia techniques/Parts Therapy/Inner Child Work/Anger Management/Stress Management.

• Thinking Intentions Psychology. Huddersfield Technical College.

As well as one to one treatment, I offer group work in Weight Reduction, and Stress Management, Guided Visualizations and Relaxation Techniques.

On site Indian Head Massage for Firms.

I also offer workshops in Stress Management Techniques, Self Hypnosis, and Past Life workshops.
